Testing Testing

Just got back from Kung Fu. It was falls and throws night, my absolute least favorite night, yet I feel so good because I also got to practice staff. yay! It reminds me of my years in color guard, but... you know...slightly more violent. mwwaahaaha.

Tangent over....
The real reason I am writing is that I have been asked by my beautiful, wonderful, amazing, magnificent, fantastic, incredible (have a gone too far yet?) MOTHER to make a blog for Japan. I figured now is just a good a time as any to begin witting about my Japan experience, after all things are already happening

I found out my address, who my predecessor is, and where I will be teaching. Matt and I will be living in Kiyosato / Takane in Hokuto-Shi, Yamanashi-Ken. Apparently it is in the middle of nowhere...kinda excited about a rural placement, but kind of worried that I might go crazy with nothing to do. On the other hand, I think it will really challenge me to be more creative with my time... especially since Matt and I have decided not to buy a TV *cue drama chords*
I know I will need to find something like Kung Fu to become involved in when I get there...I just don't know what it will be yet.
